On Thursday May 22nd, 2025, EMS professionals from all across Chester County gathered at the annual EMS Banquet in Kennett Square. This event is for recognizing life saving efforts from Chester County EMS companies and is hosted by the Chester County EMS Council in conjunction with National EMS Week. This event shows awareness of our profession and the impact we have on our communities.

The night began with a presentation of life saving clinical awards and clinical excellence awards. In addition, personnel were recognized for pre-hospital deliveries. The following people from Westwood received these awards for their life saving efforts in 2024-

Also in 2024, our EMS Captain was the lead paramedic on an emergency for a cardiac arrest where it involved a fire police lieutenant from the Modena Fire Company. Thankfully due to the life saving excellence from Captain Case, and the entire EMS and fire crews from Modena, Lieutenant Campbell was alive and at the banquet to present the prestigious Medal of Valor award.
