On Saturday December 21st, 2024 at 14:14, the Westwood Fire Company and mutual aid were dispatched to the 100 block of Milbury Lane in the Bradford Village section of East Fallowfield Township for a reported house on fire.

Engine 44-5 and Rescue 44 made an immediate response to the emergency as they were on the street with Santa Claus in our first due territory.

Engine 37 and Ladder 41 arrived first dues, and stretched a line into the structure and located a small fire in the attic. Westwood crews assisted with opening up the ceiling area and the engine company extinguished the fire.

The assignment was quickly placed under control, holding the assignment to 37, 44, and 41. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the County Fire Marshal's Office. Deputy Chief Scott was the command post for the duration of the incident.
