On Monday, July 4th, 2011 Traffic 44 and Westwood Fire Police assisted the Borough of Downingtown by providing traffic control services for the annual Downingtown Good Neighbor Day festivities. Traffic 44 closed Route 322 at Boot Road from 0700-1000. ATV 44 was requested by the Alert Fire Company of Downingtown to provide them assistance with various tasks throughout the day. The Downingtown Fire Department operated at a second alarm fire in the Borough while all of the events were going on at nearby Kerr Park. While Traffic 44 returned to Westwood following the morning detail, the ATV remained in Downingtown all day. ATV 44 was picked up the following morning and returned to Westwood after use by Alert's members. |
