On Sunday, October 10, 2010 Chief Randy Scott, Past Chief Ronald P. Scott and FF Chester Taylor III along with their families attended a special Sunday church service held at the Hephzibah Baptist Church in East Fallowfield Township. The Sunday Service was to honor Firefighters and EMT's from surrounding fire companies.

The guest speaker was Rev. Joseph Smaha, an ordained minister who is Pastor of the Community Church of Paramus, New Jersey. Rev. Smaha is actively involved with the fire service currently serving as Fire Inspector for the Bureau of Paramus Fire Dept New Jersey which is just outside the limits of New York City.

Following the church service, the members of the congregation held a luncheon and fellowship time for the Emergency Service Members and their families.

Westwood Fire Company along with Modena Fire Company, Pomeroy Fire Company, West End Fire Company and Washington Hose Company all attended. A few firefighters from as far away as Birdsboro Lancaster County where also in attendance.

The members and families of Westwood Fire Company would like to thank the Hephzibah Baptist Church for the hospitality and especially Rev. Joseph Smaha for his message.
