The last several months have kept three of our career EMS personnel busy. Not only have they been fulfilling there regular EMS duties, but they also dedicated their time to Firefighter 1 level training.

Completing Firefighter 1 training takes over 200 hours of your time and gives you the basic skills to be an interior firefighter.

Firefighter/PHRN Crysler took her training through Harrisburg Area Community College and Firefighter/EMT Dolbow and Firefighter/AEMT Clark took their training through the Chester County Fire Training Academy. In addition, Firefighter/Medic Casto completed the accelerated Chester County program, a course designed to get through the program quicker for summer day sessions.

This training is a big part of providing a Fire, Rescue and EMS service to our community. We thank these members for completing this training and to their families for allowing them to dedicate this time.
