On Wednesday, April 11th, 2012 ATV44 was once again requested to assist the Twin Valley Fire Department operating at the large stubborn woods fire at the French Creek State Park.

After reporting to the Command Post that had been established at the Chester County Incident Support Team trailer, ATV44 was assigned numerous tasks including the delivery of much needed fuel and supplies.

As one of the only water-equipped ATVs on the scene, the ATV was assigned to work the fire line throughout the afternoon, extinguishing hot spots and wetting down areas to prevent fire growth.

ATV44 was in service for approximately nine hours, eventually returning to Twin Valley Fire Station 69 to remain in the area indefinitely until the fire is contained.
