Monday night firefighters were alerted to the 800 block of West Lincoln Highway in Valley Township for a building fire. Westwood, Sadsburyville and a Wagontown Fire Companies all answered the call.
Sadsburyville Deputy Chief Brecht arrived on location first and reported smoke showing from a 1 story commercial property. Deputy 31 also assumed the Lincoln Highway Command.
Incoming units ran the front bumper line to the fire for suppression from Engine 31-1. A positive pressure fan was also set up to ventilate the building charged with smoke.
All occupants were able to escape the building on fire and report it to 911 before getting out of control. There were no injuries reported.
